Before you book a flat in an under-construction project, check that the builder and the project are registered with RERA. Ask for the approved building plan, land title papers and the commencement certificate. Visit the site at least twice and make sure the possession date is written in the sale agreement. Also check the project on the state RERA website. Keep all payment receipts.
